SEE IT AND LEAVE

Buffalo’s scenic character is an endless tapestry of suburban interstices, dubious commercial architecture, and unexpected pastorality. The accidental tableaus and subdued rhythms of this place are wonderfully captured in Nick’s color 35mm photos, all from 2013. The images are equal parts affectionate and deadpan, emerging from a relationship to environment that seems, magically, both intimately familiar and near-completely detached.
